Enduring Hardship-ISLAM We, each and every one of us may have been visited and experienced by grief, tragedy, or tremendous loss, emotionally or materially at some point of in his or her life "Who has created death and life that he may test you which of you is best in deed. And he is the All-mighty, the oft-forgiving;" [Al-Qur'an 67:2] "This life is a test for the hereafter" whatever our commitment to God and our faith (Imaan) will put in a test according to our level of faith (Imaan) and you will be rewarded accordingly. The people most prone to trials are prophets, and then most pious people, and then the less pious and so on. The prophet Muhammed(PBUH) said, There are 100 ranks in the Jannah (Heaven). "And certainly, we shall test you with something of fear, hunger, looses of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to as-sabireen(the patient)" [Al-Qur'an 2:155] We should show patience as much as possible for whatever trials we may incur. Allah the Most Gracious su! rely rewards those who patiently persevere: Let us pray, may Allah give us strength to endure hardship with patience, and to emerge from all the trials and tribulations of this life, with our faith (Imaan) renewed and our trust in Allah redoubled. Be firm in Islam, do not miss what Allah (swt) asked us to do and stay away from what Allah (swt) prohibited us... Praise be to Allah; we praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own selves and from our evil
